Hi,
I know I should have mscdex.exe as well as generic cd rom drivers such as oakcdrom.sys and aoatapi.sys on the boot disk. I also know that following lines should be in the config.sys that is on the cdrom: [CD] device=oakcdrom.sys /D:mscd001 device=aoatapi.sys /D:mscd001 ...but what exactly should I put on the boot disk's autoexec.bat? And does the "/D:mscd001 " means that my Cd rom drive will use the drive D:\ ?? Thanks for helping |

I'm not sure what you want to do but if you are trying to make a boot up floppy to install win95 go HERE and download and use the win98 OEM disk as it will work with 95 and also has later versions of drivers installed.
