Comp wont detect my dvdcd rom drive
computer does not recognize my rom drives in device manager.
what can I do to fix? there are yellow exclaimation flags under my Hard disk controller category...both Primary Bus and Secondary Bus (dual fifo)I have VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Controller that is not flaged does anyone know how i can fix it??? Dave |

Remove from Device Manager, reboot. Win98 should pick them up upon reboot. Or...update drivers. Go to the manufacturer of the chipset, and look for the most recent.
It helps to have a product such as Everest which tells you lots of valuable info about your system. There is a free version. |
