I have a new os, but i want my old emails, help

i have recently had to change hard disk, but i copied all the old system information, i am using outlook express and i cant seem to extract my old emails from the old files - could anyone tell me how to do it???? there are some important emails which i cant lose......

Not sure what version you are using, but basically you need to import your old addresses form where ever they reside now. In Outlook, drop down file and click import- export, select the import addresses and browse to the file where they are to be found, select and click import.
