Re: MSN not working

Hi Comet

Anytime a computer shows abnormal behavior, a good first step is to scan for "malware" (viruses, etc.). If you haven't already tried that, give it a try.

Dialup connections are known to be sensitive to many things, from the length of the phone cord to special settings in the modem . . . in such cases, fairly good help can result from a phone call to your Internet provider, since they know the settings that work best with your system. Note that many Internet Service Providers ("ISP"s) no longer support Windows 95/98/Me.

If you have a high-speed cable/DSL/Satellite connection, check the support webpages for your ISP for any custom settings their service requires, especially for DSL on a Win95/98/Me system.

Hopefully you have already found a solution - & I'm just getting in some typing practice. Sorry this reply is so late ... been busy with graduations and family visits (Summertime!).

Best of luck
. . . Gary
