scandisk and D drive
I have two problems that just occurred.
1. My D drive doesn't recognize any disc 2. I cannot run scandisk. |

Get another CD drive. What happens when you run Scandisk? If you have a boot floppy, boot off of that and when you get to the Dos prompt, type CD C: which changes the drive letter to C: and type in Scandisk, hit Enter.

Actually, you need to just type C: to change the drive letter.
CD C: will only display what the current directory is on the C: drive, it won't actually switch the active drive. HTH Jerry |
