I have just picked up a E-Machine....E-Tower 667 combi
Genuine Intel Intel (r)Celeron(tm) processor 255.0 mb ram It has Microsoft windows Me ,would it be possible to upgrade (format) it to Xp

most winme computers are upgradeable to xp but you should run the following xp readiness test
http://www.pcpitstop.com/xpready/ However, imo, you do not have enough ram for it to run efficiently. You need a minimum of 512 but 1 gig would be the best.

hey windows 98 is outdated man... even xp also but as far concerned now it has service pack three that really working good..
