Can't capture sound while recording screen
I'm using FRAPS and I have a Realtek AC97 onboard HD sound.
I'm using stereo-mix to record the sound, I can't adjust the recording level of stereo-mix because the onboard sound is crap for making decent adjustments. I also can't select it to record from anything, I have to mute what I don't want to it to record from. It also doesn't have WAVE available to record from, and I have all sound devices enabled under the Properties tab in Master Volume. I don't see anything in Realtek's HD program for sound etc. I'm running XP, SP3, All updates. This is what happens. http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=n53crs&s=5 |

Re: Can't capture sound while recording screen
The way Realtek has it set-up is that for recording it senses the input. You can adjust recording levels but you can't do it for each individual input. It's a master recording volume.
In the Realtek Audio Manager it's under the Mixer tab. To adjust the recording volume you move the volume knob under the Recording title. Not sure if any of that is going to help with what is going on but thought I would say something. Pauldo |

I've read some links on google and alot of them point to stereo-mix being a problem, is there away I can stream record wave simultaneously with fraps? |
