Video players dont work right
After sucessfully solving one of my problems with PC thanx to GeekGirl, I'll try to ask for another major one: Dont know why but after I(or better my buddy) have installed GeForce FX5200(before that there was some basic wich came with PC) I started to have problems with playing video in Windows Medea Player(all files - avi, mpg's, wmv's) - I see picture, have a sound but video plays about 3-4secs, then another 3-4secs plays insted of normal time(those 3-4secs) in 1second, then play 3-4secs and then another 3-4secs plays in 1second and so on and so on. Sometimes it turns black and freeze all the comp and I have to reboot(that happens all the time with WM streaming vids).
Same way it works PowerDVD to play vids(not DVDs cause I dont have DVDmechanics) But WinAmp works just perfect with the same vids without ANY problem, QT and Real players working fine too. In some of games intros work on the same principles WinMedea so it doesnt work properly. Maybe someone know how the players works and what they use to encode video and that might pick the problem area and it will be easier to find. |
