Confused Missing Dll File

hey I ran a file check it states that I am Missing a setx.dll file I can not find it on my c/d. nor on P/C I went to a site that has dll files downloaded the one I needed I thought? any how I need some assistance lol thanks.....

Did it tell you what folder it was missing from? When you downloaded it did you put the .dll in that folder... such as C:/Windows/System32 or something?

go to www.dll-files.com and you can download it from there and copy it to the windows\system32 folder ( or other windows folder)

I downloaded one of them the setupx.dll from there I even ran the thing but it still is missing? where do I extract the file too?

The help file should have told you where to extract it to. My guess is that it goes to C:/Windows/System32

My understanding was that most DLLs go into C:\windows\system...maybe this was a 98 thing; I'm very new to XP. But I guess it's worth a try if you can't get to work.
