Monitor power down
Does anyone know where the setting is that will allow me to keep my monitor from shutting off after 10 minutes of inactivity? Thanks in advance.

In the control panel, you'll find something like "power settings" or power options" in there is settings for shutting down the display, hard drive etc. during idle time. You'll never notice the savings on your utility bill, but it's good to take advantage of the power settings, for it makes hard drives and such last considerably longer. If you insist these things be on continuously, I'd encourage doing regular backups.
