98 'Loading screen' issues
My grandfather runs Windows 98. I went over to his house as he was having troubles with his printer. I was looking around at his antivirus and his updates had finished 3 years ago. So I decided to download AVG Free at least until he came up with some other arrangement. When I was installing it, it asks for the usual reboot
Then when I reboot...It just stays on the Windows 98 screen and doesn't move on from there. The 'loading bar' down the bottom keeps moving but nothing else does. I've tried rebooting several times etc. but that hasn't helped. I don't know if AVG is related to this or not. A quick search didn't bring me much luck on how to fix this problem, so could anybody please lend a hand. Thanks a bunch.
