98 ethernet card can't find memory
Still having trouble getting an Accton EN2212 to work in an Acer Travelmate 514 running 98SE.
Device manager shows a Code 12: cannot find any free Memory Range resources to use. Hence, no IRQ or Memory range showing under Resources tab. Have reinstalled numerous times to no avail. Won't work in either card slot. Have looked in BIOS but cannot change ISA interrupts (can only enable, disable or set memory range of Serial Port, IrDA FIR and Parallel port. My PC (XP) detects network activity when the laptop is on, so I'm 99% sure the card is working. |
