Re: missing vmm32.vdx file in Win95

Welcome to TSF

Microsoft has ended support for the Windows 95 operating system December 31st 2002.

No more patches specifically aimed at flaws in this operating systems will be developed, and users will be unable to get advice or help from Microsoft.

Ending support for the operating systems is likely to affect only a few people with older or secondhand PCs.

TSF has also decided to discontinue support for Windows 95. Hardware and software makers have discontinued their support many years ago and obtaining the proper information has become difficult.

We understand you may still have a need for a dos based O.S. so we have compiled a list of links that we think may assist anyone needing help.

Heres the link
TSF Will No longer will support Windows 95

Re: missing vmm32.vdx file in Win95

I found this.
Take care because this VMM32.VxD problem is rather tricky and can lead to reinstall Windows if you're not aware!
First of all, know that VMM32.VxD can't be copied from another computer as it is created at installation of YOUR system!

This tells you how to recreate the vmm32.vxd file for your specific computer. http://www.infinisource.com/techfiles/vmm32.html
