Re: Desktop Logos Black
Hi Alive&Kickin
Short answer: yes. Does this describe your system? - Intel® Celeron® Processor 733MHz Intel® 810 chipset, 66MHz FSB 64MB SDRAM (1 DIMM available for upgrade up to 256MB) 20GB HDD Built-in 48x Max. CD-ROM; 3.5" 1.44MB FDD Intel® Direct 3D 2x AGP (shared memory) Intel® 82801 AC '97 Audio They'd have to be games from way back near my prime years to run acceptably on that hardware. Not much wiggle room (256mb max on system memory ... and is there even an upgradeable AGP slot? ... which might also be a 2x sort of AGP, requiring a dated card). You can try limiting the colors to "High Color (16-bit)" rather than "True Color (32-bit) ... & try limiting as many sound, color, and resolution settings within the games as you can --- they might play a bit if trimmed. Best of luck . . . Gary

Re: Desktop Logos Black
Are you talking about your desktop icons? If so, get tweakui 1.33 from here:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...US/Tweakui.exe When you run the file, it will extract - probably to C:\WINDOWS\Temp. Go to that folder, then right click tweakui.inf and pick install. Then go to your control panel, pick tweakui, and go to the repair tab, and pick repair icons. Otherwise I really have no idea what you'd be talking when you mention logos. |
