Pin Spy Sweeper Error Message

I am running Windows ME on a Compac MV740 and keep getting the followng error message: "The Spy Sweeper installation has been damaged. Please reinstall the product". However, the Spy Sweeper Program seems to be working properly. What would be the reason for this error message and how do I handle this?

It won't hurt to try and follow those instructions --- but first uninstall SpySweeper and reboot before reinstalling.

If you were installing a downloaded version of Spy Sweeper, download it again, this time making sure not to use any 'download managers', or to have any other programs open.

See if that does it -

P.S. ... I believe you'll need a version older than version 6 -- as Webroot has dropped Win9x/Me support recently.
