I'M HAVING TROUBLE SIGNING ONTO YAHOO, I'VE DOWNLOADED IT 3 TIMES AND IT STILL WON'T LET ME LOG ON AND WHEN I CLICC ON HELP A WINDOW COMES UP SAYING THAT "WINDOWS CANNOT LOCATE PROGRAM.EXE" I'VE DEFRAMENTED THE DRIVE AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK, PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

download and save it...try that version on another system...and check the firewall...mabey its blocking something...it could be corrupt..as much as I hate AOhell I had a client who insist on using it... went to download it yesterday and it downloaded corrupt...nothing I could do till he went a grabbed one of the million CDs out there... you might want to look at Trillion ( I belive) it allows MSN and Yahoo and when AOL doesnt change thier builds...to see each other

Bad System Configuration
Clicking Full Report reports the following:

Setup detected an invalid system configuration, which is usually caused by a virus. Go to KB Article Q311446 and follow the instructions there.

This alteration in the registry forces executable programs to run as a command line argument to the Sirc32.exe file. Through the course of the upgrade to Windows XP the Sirc32.exe file is removed.

The removal of the Sirc32.exe virus without modification of the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command key will invalidate every executable file on the computer because, according to this line in the registry, the executable files are to be run as a command line parameter to the Sirc32.exe file (which no longer exists). This prompts the "Windows cannot find" message when attempting to launch the executable file.

Hey i dont no if u found a solution to this prob or how tec works but i get tis message wen i try to open zip files to those who dont no wot im on about including me, every time i try to open a zip file ms tells me Program.exe cant be found. can anyone help?

Windows says it cannot find program.exe when it knows that a program should be used to do what you are telling it ; but the program and name are not there . This normally occurs when you change or update a program and the icons on the desktop remain, but the exe file they used to point to is not there any more, instead a new version (potentially with a new name). It also occurs when you download an online installer (like Yahoo uses where they do not download a full offline installation; but instead download a setup file which goes online to download additional files based on what it finds on your system).

Yes, it is often caused by uninstalling the program associated with opening a specific type of file (or removing a virus which has set itself to be launched whenever an exe file is run ) but I do not think that is the case here.
So , rerun your yahoo messenger installation; and remember that you must be online while it installs.

Of just use an alternative multiplatform client which lets you access yahoo, AOL, MSN etc all with just one program .
