Dial up connection box
I don't know how to word this, I hope someone can understand it.
When I turn my computer on each morning or I restart it, it loads just fine but then the dial up connection box pops up. It doesn't automatically try to connect, but the box just comes up. I don't want that box to pop up. :D Can someone tell me how I can make it quit doing that? Thanks Last edited by angel; 09-28-2002 at 02:54 AM. |

When the box is open press Ctrl Alt del to see what tasks are running. Let us know what that list is.
In the meantime go to run in the start menu and type msconfig. Select the start up tab (far right) and uncheck all boxes apart from systray, scanreg, and any antivirus of firewall software you run (look at the description to the right of the file name if your unsure). If this works ok, job done. If not let us know
