Any chance there's a floppy in your floppy drive?

Yeah, you got a problem there........

There are several measures you can try, but you may save yourself a lot of time by re-installing Windows 98 over top of itself now. Other programs and data should be completely unaffected, but you will have to get Windows Updates again (first thing you should do once running again).

Grin reply

Well .. have u checked the connection of hard disk to power supply? did u touch it?

Invalid system disk error is supposed to be in 2 cases mostly one as mentioned above floppy disk in drive or hard disk not being detected..

Is there some sound coming from the cpu speaker. while u get this message on the screen..

If u r a little bit more than an average user the disconnect hard disk power supply chord and ther other one which goes in cpu slot and reconnect them again ...

or u can do the same thing by pressing delete key when ur computer starts up this will take u into bios .. when u go there ... u can check whether ur hard disk is being detected... or not
