Can't Select Printers In Quickbooks 99, W98SE

Without warning, a Quickbooks 99 installation in a W98SE machine no longer allows printer selection; i.e., when you select "print" you usually get the options as to which printer to use, etc., which no longer occurs.

A reinstall of QB99 did not solve the problem.

A virus check revealed no problems.

ALL other programs allow printer selection.

Any suggestions or fix ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

(Why QB99/W98SE? Both have worked well on this older computer.)

Rename your printer to something short like print1. This problem can be caused by long printer names and or just bug out.
