Mistake new problem...help

ok so i got thru almost all of the installization process and when it got to the detecting hardware it just went crazy, i knew it had a virus before and i just was hoping that if i formatted and reinstalled it would resolve the virus, well no.. and now it acting like its goina finish the setup then it starts the beep code over and over again, espically when i just touch the mouse. then it restarts itself and goes thru scandisk.. im wondering if this virus has spread to my mobo b.c. im almost sure that the hdd will hafta be replaced.. so if anyone has any ideas on what is infected on this comp plz lemme know, or if there is any kinda diagnostic i could use to tell me what is wrong before i go and try to put in a new hdd and mobo. thanks

If you formatted properly you would have removed the virus.
The beeps are an indication of a hardware problem what is the code ? four short or one long etc.
