Problems entering product key for Roxio Easy CD DVD creator 6

I've never encountered such a problem before. I installed a new LG DVD writer which reads discs just fine. I have an OEM copy of Roxio 6 with the product key and the box indicates it works with 98SE. When I try to intall and have the screen to enter the product key, it won't let me enter all the numbers? The last string of digits is 6 digits long and I can only enter 5 digits in the box.

I talked to a tech guy and he has never heard of such a problem. So far on google, I haven't been able to find such a problem. Does anyone know what is going on here? I'd really like to have this writer actually be able to write DVD's. I have Version 5 of roxio which installs fine, but it only does CD's.

Try sending an email to LG support - since it's their software bundle, they might have a workaround.

Not much you can do with a five-space input for a six digit number.
