MS097.dll

When I try to print a document in excel, I receive the error message "Excel has caused an error in MS097.dll" and the program closes. What can I do about it?

There is an error in that file. Download it then replace it, you should then be good.

I can see how to download it, either open or save. Then it shows as a folder in my documents and I don't know what to do next.

Hi
Check this

Close Excel.
Start-Run
Type regedit and hit enter

Browse to:
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\8.0\excel

Rename the Excel folder to OldExcel
Close the registry editor

I was also having the same problem now it is sloved by changing the reg.

Ok, so I tried the rename thing. When I tried to print a doc in excel, it said "excel has caused an error in aplwin01.dll". Help.......

If it were me......I would reverse those regedit directions, then save that downloaded DLL file to your C:\Windows\System32 folder.

Try it then.........

I think u should repair ur microsoft office by reinstalling it.
