Re: Cleaning Out c: for Windows 98
So, besides the obvious advice of deleting your documents, pictures, emails, etc., ......what is your question?

Re: Cleaning Out c: for Windows 98
Hi ksuar
The recent versions of SpyBot now include a secure "file shredder" utility that can help you securely remove the older data. And SpyBot still runs on Windows 98 --- http://www.download.com/Spybot-Searc...dlPid=10804822 You'll want to securely delete files especially - if you've done any financial transactions from the computers you are expecting to donate. I believe there are other secure removal programs on sites like download.com that might to the trick as well. (I do recommend scanning such downloaded programs before using them - just to be safe & make sure you have a clean download). Best of luck . . . Gary
