blue screen error

hi anyone know what to do if a fatal exception oe has occurred at0028:xxxxxx in vxd wsock2(01) means or how to resolve this problem? i've checked for viruses, bots...this happens sometimes at startup at or anytime in general.i have windows 98se 800 mgz intel 256 ram and installed a phillips sound card a while back thanks for any help.... thrasher

Download WinsockFix and unzip it. Then double-click on it to run it.

after a few tweaks and didnt solve the problem from our cyber friends re the Vlue Xreen of Death (VXD) email me and i'll tell you how to eliminate the Vlue Xreen for good
