Upgrading queries...
hey, i have an old windows 98 computer in the spare room not getting used and i was wondering if I would be able to upgrade it to windows XP (or higher) without having to go go out an buy anything? like is there a website where i can download a file from and install it on that? or is it impossible/illegal?

Re: Upgrading queries...
First of all, I doubt if the computer would run XP unless it has adequate memory.
Second, you will have to purchase a legitimate copy of XP, because you just can't go out and download a copy anyplace that would be legal. Not worth the risk to break the law if you could.
