I am using a very old borrowed laptop and suddenly when I start it the display shows up very small and centered - as if in safe mode. But I tried all the "tricks" to get out of safe mode and it stays the same. Then I read somewhere that if it really is in safe mode it will say "safe mode" in the corners, which it currently does not. So now I'm left with a small, safe mode-esque screen size and no idea how to change it back to normal! Please help me! Thanks!

Re: Help Please!!
Hi,
That is usually a sign that the Video Driver is corrupted. Try removeing the driver from System Manager and reboot. Usually Windows will reinstall the driver and things will get back to normal. If not, go to the Laptop Maker's web site and download the driver or try Driversguide.com or other driver sites. Luck, JIm |
