[SOLVED] drives for windows 98se

hi,I am new to computers,Ive got a wierless network set up ,my main computer is a desktop,with windows xp pro,and my second one is also a desktop,but with windows 98SE,Ive tryed to install a dongle on windows 98SE,but I keep getting a message saying no drives to support 98 SE,any help please,I tryed a netgear dongle,Ive set up the network up ok,birdman1

Hi Bird,

If you mean by Dongle a USB to Ethenet adapter, what you really need is a Wireless PCI card for the Win98SE Machine. I'm running a local wired net with Xp and 98SE. Works OK. Have run a wireless net between 98SE machines in the past with no problems.
