internet problem

Please help , I can connect to the internet via dialup,and I get online but when i try to connect to any website I recieve error page unable to connect
and another error is http port 8081 inuse by unknown.
any suggestions.

check that you have put your isp details into tc/ip correctly
ip addy
subnet mask
default gateway
dns
if it is not dynamically assigned

that didn't work they are set auto by my isp?

try lowering the security settings in your browser
do you see your isp's page

Also, try this tool:

Download WinsockFix and unzip it. Then double-click on it to run it.

Also try a different browser. I am a firefox fan.

Also Opera is another good one.
