hey does any understand the ripping effect ? ithought it was able to burn my cd faster please help?

CD Ripping refers to the Audio Extraction Rate. So it's the ability of the CD Rom to be able to read and digitally extract the music tracks on the cd, to the hard drive. And how well it does it.
