Emailing Word docs with Excel Links

Does anyone know how to send Word documents with Excel links to other people outside the original network? The problem seems to be that if I create a word doc. on my computer with links to excel files (i.e. tables in the word doc.) people whom I email this file to cannot open the word doc. This occurs even if I include the files in the email. One problem I noticed is that the path the link follows on my computer is not going to exist on the receivers computer. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Yes. You EMBED the information into your Word doc - not LINK it.
