Missing Pieces of Win 98SE

I ran the Belarc Advisor and learned I am missing some pieces of my operating system. The parts have been missing for well over a year yet I continue to use the system. It works fine. The missing parts are itemized below. I have two questions. Thanks in advance for any help.

1. Should I bother to reinstall the missing software or leave well enough alone?
2. Where would I get the missing pieces if you say I should reinstall?

Hi lacoppari

I wouldn't worry too much about BelArc's list. If you visit Windows Update, it will let you know if you actually still need any available downloads. Windows Update still works for Windows-98, you can still download updates up to the point where they were discontinued in mid-2006.

Some "missing" parts might have been necessary at some earlier point, but were since superceded by later releases.
