I have a Monorail model 133 with windows 98. I am trying to install word 6.0 but it won't because it is looking for share.exe file. I have renamed a text file share.exe and put it in the C: directory, also in the c:\windows\command directory. I have added the line C:\dos\share.exe/L:500 to the autoexec.bat file. None of these made any difference. I rebooted after each change as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi, well I was able to figure out what the issue was. Hopefully this may help someone else having this problem. When I created the text file in notepad and saved it as share.exe, apparently the file type was not what it should have been. I went into the command prompt window and looked for the file in all the places I saved it. It was showing up as sharee~1.com. Well I renamed them all as share.exe then rebooted and now I can load word 6.0.
