[SOLVED] Spybot Won't Install

I've downloaded Spybot twice now and have encountered the same problem each time. When I go to install it by clicking on the install file (.exe) in the directory, the installation downloads more software. Once this is completed, the wizzard continues to install but tells me the installation file is corrupted and to download software again. I've done this twice now. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Thanks.

One last thing: I had an older version of Spybot and checked for updates. I downloaded a slew of them then tried to install. Same thing happened. So I uninstalled all the software and started from scratch. Those results are mentioned in previous paragraph.

You downlaoded Spy Bot from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html right?

There are alot of sites out there that pose as SpyBot but actually just install spyware.

Yes, that is exactly where I got it - twice.

I am receiving customer complaints about having the same issue, there must be something going on with Spybot's .exe file.
I would say wait a few days, and try updating again.
