when my brother computer boots up it keeps saying it found
new hardware he has three PCI slots and there all taking he has a modem thats 1 pci slot he has a networking card thats 2 pci slot and a pci geforce card thats 3 pci and i don't get how can i found a pci audio device when all my pci slots are taking or is there some thing im doing wrong please can some one help...

Hi and welcome to the forums.
It sounds like this pci audio device may be the audio device built into the motherboard. You should be able to go to the manufacturers website and download the audio drivers.

thanks im glad to be here my brothers motherboard is crappy
its made by GVC sis530 built on video/ built on AGP the motherboard is garbage if you ask me but is there a way i can fined out what kind of built on sound device i he has

You may be able to get an audio driver there. About the avatar, you can purchase the option to change and upload your own avatar in the tech store. There is a link on the home page. the only driver they have is for modems i found my brothers
motherboard his computer is a nec i have found the motherboard on a packerdbell site but know i can't remember the modal number of the motherboard and thank you for your help
