IE auto active

I am hoping someone here can help me. I've posted at other forums with no replies...
I am running an HP with two monitors. When I surf the net, one IE browser will be activated (when a particular site is loaded) while I'm working on the other IE browser. There must be a way to disable whatever is causing this. I know I'm not the only one running two monitors, so I can't be the only one with this problem.
