How do I get into the bios, on win 98, to delete the password? Thanks

BIOS has nothing to do with Operating system.

as your PC boots look for the on screen message saying hit @@@ to enter set up, quite frequently it's the DEL key but it is usually stated as you power on ... towards the bottom of the screen
