USB Problem o/s 98se
G'day
Hope someone with more smarts than me can suggest a solution for a real annoying problem yesterday all was fine, today after start up the usb printer & usb digital camera connect wont work. Power going thru but no data from either of the 2 usb slots. went to settings> control panel>scanners & camera> properties showed printer 'unavailable' and no port indicated. Any help would be most appreciated Thank You Rob |

Re: USB Problem o/s 98se
control panel, system, hardware tab, device mgr - is there any yellow or red marks there
have you tried to remove devices from pc and shut down, then restart and when back in windows attatch your devices 1 at a time, if 1st device works, then move to adding 2nd |

Re: USB Problem o/s 98se
Hi,
Seahawk is right. Remove the USBs from System Manager. WIndows has the drivers stashed away on the Hard Drive and will almost always reinstall them on the next reboot. Good Luck, Jim |
