hi, i got a CD question!!!

This is my first question, but i'll try to give as much information i can.
Ok, I wrote a CD(700 mb) at my workplace in windows vista home premium with the built-in cd writing, and now that i got home to my ancient computer with windows 98 se, i cannot see the files on the CD, but it writes that 0 k of 560,000 k free, but still i cant see no files.
I got a 52x cd-rom at home.
What can i do?
Thanks

Re: hi, i got a CD question!!!

Hello and Welcome to TSF

What type of files are they?
Win98 cannot see NTSF files but I doubt you would be wanting to see system files

Re: hi, i got a CD question!!!

a couple of movies, nothing hidden.
i think it's because vista uses a CD file system that win98 doesn't recognize anymore??

Re: hi, i got a CD question!!!

Movies are most times viewed via DVD using a dvd software program, if you do not have a dvd rom and software in your home pc you will not be able to view them or watch the movie.

By default, the cd-writer Vista has does not close the CD. What you have is like one written using Roxio's InCD but not finalized - you need the same app to read it.

Try writing it again, but this time check all the options ensuring the Session and CD are closed when the writing is done.
