Windows Explorer
I have an old system running Windows 98 SE which I recently upgraded with an 80Gb hard disk. I have partitioned this with 4 x 20Gb partitions.
However, the primary partition now shows as FAT32(LBA). After much fiddling around with this partition, I can now run Windows Scandisk and Windows Defrag, and well as Norton Ghost. I have purchased a new system running Windows XP Pro which has a 40Gb hard disk. If I swap the two hard disks over, will I have any problem with the 80Gb disk with the primary partition being FAT32(LBA). Someone out there may have encountered a similar problem. Reply to JOR. |

You can't just swap the disks over as the installation is specific to the machine it's on. I'm not quite sure why you want to swap them.
