Data error reading Drive C: Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail?
Help, my Mom called with this error message, think i know but want to call on the experts. She cannot get to any of the options. Suggestions to override(?) or just trash it

Welcome to TSF.
Try running scandisk and see if it finds any bad sectors. If so, see if they could be repaired.
