Monitor Resolution Problems

Allright, just when I thought I had this thing fixed....

I walked into the computer room this morning just in time to see a couple massive error messages and my little brother restarting the computer. He has no idea what the errors were, but now I cannot change my res (stuck in 16b 800/600)

Also, HJT will not run out of safe mode and IE is shutting down occasionally when I try and open new windows.

I wish my family would realize that they can't just waltz in and mess up the nice clean system.

So you are stuck in Safe Mode now? Could you change the resolution there? If not, go into the Device Manager and remove the video drivers. Restart and reinstall the drivers if needed/required. See if that will work.

You need to put a bios password on that computer. That will keep them out.
