ad aware problem

i'm running win 98 on a 450 mhz 6.5 gig hard drive. just ran spybot, that ran ok. restarted computer, tried to run adaware it scans up to 155 files under local memory and stops responding. i made sure to update the definitions for spybot and ad aware help

Try running it in safe mode.

I have the same problem running on my Win98 Operating system. I have to do it in safe mode and then it runs fine. Must be too many programs running for the processor to handle. Good luck
