product key

i bought a Windows 98 SE CD and have lost the product key for it. Is there a way i can get a product key for it w/o trying to trackdown and buying another CD?

Ring Microsoft, explain the situation and hope they give you one. Not sure whether they still give support for 98 SE.

If it is currently installed, you can use Belarc Advisor to find the install Key

no it is not currently installed. I was going to dual boot it with XP Pro.

no way of getting one im afraid, either contact Microsoft or Buy a new copy. Dont expect us to give you one.
