What is this: X2D07TMKBN.EXE

This file is listed in the system configuration (msconfig). I don't know what it is or what it does or how it got there. It's location is shown to be C:\WINDOWS\X2D07TMKBN.EXE yet when I check I can't find it anywhere. There seems to be over 2000 files linked to it! So my questions are - what is it - is it necessary - if not necessary, how do I get rid of it? I disabled it and all files linked to it and my resources jumped up from 74% free to 90%! Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately it seems this is a nasty file, Google did not bring up any information on it. Sorry to say but your systen maybe riddled with some type of malware. You probably can't see it because it is hidden, go and show hidden files and folder s and I bet you find it
Also I want you to Look over the First Steps at Removing Malware . Follow all the steps and you will get assistance.
