Error message when loading wireless card
I am having problems installing a Belkin wireless network card onto my Win 98 pc. Once the software is installed I get an error on boot up saying
"The BCMWLTRY.EXE file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6905" Does anyone know what this means? I've tried reinstalling with the same result. Belkin claims it's spyware, but didn't offer any suggestions to fix it. |

Have tried checking for the presence of that DLL file (MFC42.DLL)? Not impossible it's spyware, but may be because that file is missing too.
You should be able to Google that file name and find a link to download it. |

CTSNKY:
Spoke to a 2nd person at Belkin this morning who told me that their wireless card won't work with Version 1 of Windows 98. Looks like this is the problem. Would have been nice if they told me this the first time and also stated so on the package. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and your help. |
