OS: Win95


Evil Win95 activation key

Took my old compact out of the closet and hooked it up for me kids.Had some problems with it freezing and did a restore on it but I have lost the Key.Is there anything I can do without buying the program again?

Not really. But, you should be able to find a Win95 license on Pricewatch for little money. You may even want to go to Win98 SE, since the license cost will be about the same, and it is a much better OS. Once you have a valid license, you can use any 98SE CD to do the install.

I sent you a couple I had in an old closet here, which are no longer (or will ever again be) used in a Private Message, rustyjacks.

I expect it will take the kids about 30 minutes on the old one before they bug you for a new machine.
