Media player problems

Hi, i'm not even sure if this is a media player problem for sure but it seems that when I play music or things on the internet through real player this warning comes up. the real player continues to play but with no sound. Does anyone know what this warning means? This happened out of the blue so i'm not really sure what to think. Thanks

The warning that pops up when i try to play something:

"the application C:\WINDOWS\System32\KsUser.dll si not a valid Windows
Image. Please check this against your installation diskette"

u should know that i have scanned my hard drive for viruses and its clean.

KsUser.dll seems to be related to audio drivers. Do you have a Gateway computer?
Look in the Device Manager for any yellow question marks or exclamation points
