Pin deleted rundll32.exe file win me


please help me any one who can !! i deleted my rundll32.exe file by mistake, i know, i am blonde after all!!!!!!!!!
but i cann't get it back, i have try taking it off my bootable disk, which comes with the computer, but it says it can find it ,and the only option i feel i am left, with is to reboot the drive back to manufactors settings, which means i will lose loads of stuff
so if you know how i can reinstall my missing file please help!!!!
ps nothing to technical as i am blonde!!!

OS: (multiple machines) 95, 98, 2K & XP Home & Pro


Have your WinME CD ready in the drive......click on Start/Run and type SFC.

Directions on how to use this are here.

Works the same for Win98.

Being blonde doesn't mean that you cannot attempt to repair this yourself. Please let us know how the System File Checker (sfc) works.

If it doesn't some of us will be able to explain how to manually replace the file a different way.

Be patient, and we will be too.
