Norton udate failed.

Thought I updates Norton System works but message says "driver initialization failed" after I installed and tried to run System Works. What does this mean and what should I do to get Sytem Works back on the computer.

I find occasionally that I have to uninstall completely the Norton products and do a fresh install. You also need to remove any Norton or Symantec folders anywhere on the disk. Finally, a scrub of the registry to remove any Symantec related entries completes the task.

Uninstall/reinstall might work. Also do you have a firewall?
