EEK! Help!Audio!plz [Resolved]

I downloaded a pretty nasty virus , and it wouldn't let me into windows. (explorer error)
So i reformatted and in my haste over the past few months i forgot to do somthing i shouldve done, and record drivers i needed for certain things.
I'm not really a newb but i can't even remember where to get sound card drivers or any way of detecting it.
I tried device manager and a diagnostic program but with no luck.
I remember having some sort of soundmax playback thingy, but to no avail, i cant find it on the internet.

Can someone please tell me how to detect which sound card i have or a program i can use. Thanks you very much

My System

Run Everest and go to Computer > Summary > Multimedia to see your sound device. Click on the blue link to download the latest driver for it.
